Show the capability matrix (31 assistants × 7 capabilities)
"Yes" means the vendor documents the capability on its own site or help pages, linked from that assistant's page. A dash means we found no vendor documentation, not that the feature is missing.
Each entry is built from the assistant's own documentation, pricing pages and help centre, captured on the "verified" date shown, with the source links on the linked page for that assistant. Entries are regenerated from the underlying records on every site release, and records are re-checked on a rolling basis and when a vendor announces a change. Prices and access change often: treat the verified date as the truth date. See something wrong? Report a correction and we will re-verify.
What counts for inclusion: the vendor must document a two-way conversation over a messaging service (iMessage or Apple Messages, SMS or text, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, Slack, email or phone calls). An assistant you can only reach through its own app or website chat is not listed here, however good it is; that is a different product shape, and those assistants still appear in our directory.
What we deliberately leave out: benchmark scores, response-time measurements and rankings. Publishing those requires running the same prompts against every assistant ourselves and re-running them as models change. Until we do that, this comparison sticks to verifiable fact. Our methodology explains the evidence labels.
